You just got engaged and are now looking for Southern California wedding venues but there are so many that it is overwhelming. Here are some venues that I have photographed that have been breathtakingly beautiful.
The 1909 | Best Southern California Wedding Venues
The 1909, in Topanga Canyon is a great choice if you want greenery and nature. Wanting a romantic and whimsical feel to your wedding, then I recommend this venue. Get married at the beautiful ceremony deck in front of two oak trees, take couple photos around the various locations at the venue, and reception on the meadow. Then dance the night away in the indoor dance hall. The 1909 is located in Topanga Canyon and is perfect if you want your wedding close to LA. How more perfect can it get?
Hart and Main
Hart and Main is a unique event space located in downtown Newhall. Get your breath taken away when you walk in and see the layout and the beautiful design. Have an amazing experience for your intimate wedding. Between the rooftop deck, bridal and groom suites, and the amazing staff, it will be hard to not choose this as your venue.
Los Angeles River Center and Garden
The LA River Center and Garden is a beautiful outdoor perfect for late spring, early summer and fall. This wedding venue is perfect for your intimate wedding and big wedding. This is a dream wedding location. It has a fountain, Ivy covered walls, ficus tree and flowers.
Tivoli
If you love Italy, mountain views and gardens, you will love Tivoli. I was amazed how beautiful this venue was. Tivoli provides two beautiful getting ready rooms, a courtyard filled with lush greenery, and two ceremony locations. The closeness of each area makes any wedding feel intimate.
The East Angel
The East Angel is a multi functional event space. Located in the arts district of LA, this venue is a one of a kind venue. It gives you the freedom to use your creativity and make it look like your vision. You can choose to have your ceremony here or get married at a church and have your reception here. Either way, you and your guests are going to enjoy the minimalistic feel of it.
Orcutt Ranch
Orcutt Ranch is surrounded by a citrus orchid and gardens. Along with having two getting ready rooms, a variety of locations for photos, and options for your ceremony. Trees in one of the ceremony locations provides shade for those summer months and allow your guests to be sheltered from the harsh sun.
The Hacienda Valyermo
The Hacienda Valyermo is hands down one of the most beautiful venues in the AV. This venue is perfect if you want a Spanish feel to your wedding. Everything is in close proximity which makes is easy on your timeline. The staff is absolutely amazing and on top of everything.
Green Gables
The Green Gables is one of the most beautiful weddings in Southern California. Every inch of this venue is perfect and picture worthy. Your wedding will feel like a fairytale. The dreamy hanging lights are perfect for night photos.
The Grove of Redlands
The Grove of Redlands is such a gorgeous wedding venue. This venue has beautiful scenery and has so many spots to pick from for photos. There are two rooms to get ready in (with ac for those hot summers). If you love gardens, you will love this venue. There were white roses and flowers. Even an orange grove. Best of all they had a small pond.
Santa Barbara Carousel House
This Carousel house wedding was no different. Weddings at the Carousel House and the Santa Barbara Courthouse are my favorite. Carousel House Weddings are always amazing! There are so many options when it comes to photos. My top three are walking around the park, walking to the beach, and going to the courthouse.
The Hacienda Santa Ana
The Hacienda Santa Ana is a beautiful Spanish style venue. In addition to the decor, this venue has so much greenery that makes it that much more romantic. Definitely perfect for Stephanie and Paul and went well with their theme. They had their first look at a park nearby which had the most gorgeous lighting. Altogether, the warm lights around the venue made their ceremony so romantic.
San Clemente Historic Cottage
The San Clemente Historic Cottage is beautiful With a variety of locations, this is a top favorite. Love the beach, architecture, and greenery, then this one is the one for you. Your ceremony will have a view of the ocean and the reception will be in the main patio.
Westin Bonaventure
Nestled in downtown LA within the Westin Bonaventure Hotel, Bonaventure Brewery Co is a unique venue with a spectacular view. If you love LA and love greenery, this place is for you. You even get the option to get your rooms at this hotel so you don’t have to worry about the travel.
