The Hacienda Santa Ana is a beautiful Spanish style venue. In addition to the decor, this venue has so much greenery that makes it that much more romantic. Definitely perfect for Stephanie and Paul and went well with their theme. They had their first look at a park nearby which had the most gorgeous lighting. The warm lights around the venue made their ceremony so romantic.
If you are having your at the Hacienda Santa Ana, I recommend you have a first look. The timeline is very strict which means everything will go so much faster. If you’re on the fence about having a first look, here’s a blog to help you decide.
Things to note if you’re having your wedding here:
- There are usually two weddings a day. One in the morning and the other in the evening (the reason why you can’t get in to the venue before 5pm
- Go to your venue a month before your wedding to see if the sun will be hitting you during your ceremony, if so ask if there is something that can be done
- 1000% recommend to do a first look
Stephanie and Paul’s review
“Magaly was wonderful to work with because she communicates well and also provides wedding planning tips along the way. We decided to work with her because the style of photography was exactly what we were looking for. We loved the mix of candids and posed pictures as well as the pops of color. We had never taken professional pictures so we didn’t really know what to expect. The engagement session allowed for us to get to know Magaly and also learn how to work with a photographer. She made it so easy and made us feel comfortable. This prepared us for the day of the wedding because we knew how to pose and take pictures without much awkwardness. On the day of the wedding she was helpful and was almost invisible at the same time. Such a ninja! I definitely recommend Magaly for your photography needs.”
