When I first heard I’d be second shooting a wedding at Reptacular Ranch, I’ll admit—I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. Reptiles, alpacas, weddings? Driving up to the venue felt like stepping into a SoCal retreat—a welcoming driveway hugged by tall evergreens and a charming wooden fence guiding the way. Once inside, the ranch unfolds into something incredible: quiet, secluded, rustic, and undeniably beautiful.

The ceremony area took my breath away. Framed by the serene San Gabriel Mountains, the spot felt intimate and peaceful, like a secret shared only by those lucky enough to be there. It’s the kind of backdrop wedding photographers dream about—natural, authentic, and effortlessly elegant.

Timeless Setting, Timeless Love

And speaking of elegance—let’s talk about this couple. The bride was pure joy and effortless sophistication in a fitted lace gown, beautifully balanced by the groom’s dark green suit. They were the picture of timeless love.

But here’s what I really love about Reptacular Ranch: it’s luxury without pretension. Under a canopy of string lights, surrounded by the mountains, guests gathered around a beautiful circular dance floor—perfect for dancing, laughing, and creating memories beneath the stars.

And yet, amid all the elegance and romance, there was plenty of room for genuine, carefree fun. Remember those alpacas I mentioned earlier? They came dressed as a “bride and groom!” Guests of all ages couldn’t get enough of them. (Myself included!)
