Chelsey and Walter got married at Riverbed Farm in Anaheim, CA which is a beautiful place to photograph. Their engagement session was so much fun, I knew their wedding was going to blow me away. These two lovebirds whirlwind romance went from meeting on Reddit to finally getting married in front of their loved ones in such a beautiful location and day!
One of my favorite moments when shooting a wedding is when the bride and groom first see each other. It’s one of the most emotional moments of the day. Walter and Chelsey’s wedding was no different. You can tell from when they first saw each other, the love they have for each other and how happy they were to finally get married. I think I even saw some tears.
I love learning about my couples and what they love about each other. Prior to their engagement session, I asked them what they love most about each other and below is what they told me:
From Walter: “I love how she supports me through absolutely everything. She is caring and always puts me before herself. She is loving and clingy in an endearing and cute way. I love how open and honest she is and that she puts all of her trust in me even though I can tell it makes her nervous.”
Chelsey: “I love that he’s unapologetically himself. He’s not afraid to speak his mind. I love that he’s a nerd, and has converted me into somewhat of a nerd myself. I love that he’s willing to be fat with me lol. I love that he’s not a picky eater and he doesn’t judge me for wanting to scarf down 10 tacos. He’s everything I didn’t know I needed in a partner—honest (even if sometimes brutal), weird humor, supportive, and unconditionally loving.”
