Stefaney and Valerie had the most beautiful Smogshoppe wedding in Los Angeles. I was truly honored to have been able to capture it. I met them a few months before when I took their engagement photos at Joshua Tree National Park. It was amazing getting to know them and I am truly grateful we are still in contact even months after their wedding.

Stefaney and Valerie stayed and got ready in the coolest hotel ever. The Culver Hotel is so amazing and has so much going on. You can just go to the restaurant or stay overnight. The decorations are old fashioned but that’s what makes it special. The best part was that it wasn’t far from Smogshoppe which made the trip easy.

After taking the getting ready images, the first looks with their parents, and bridal party images, we headed to the venue. Smogshoppe is incredibly beautiful with plants everywhere and photographing the details at the venue was so much fun. The courtyard garden is my favorite and that’s where the ceremony took place. The walls are filled with greenery and makes it an inviting place for a wedding. Fun fact: it is 100% solar-powered (how cool is that!) Another thing about this venue is a private dressing area for wedding couples. Definitely nice to have to get a nice break during a wedding. This dressing area is. called Crow’s Nest and on the second floor. From this area, Stef and Val were able to see there wedding guests having a great time.
